An incredible challenge
Joan is taking up the incredible challenge of not only running 10K, he’ll be completing the course on a space hopper! A great cause
It’s not only an extremely difficult challenge, it’s all for such a great cause too. The trust is a charitable organisation set up to help nurses through tough times such as ill health, injury and financial hardship. They currently support more than 1,100 nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants each year within the UK, all who have given a lifetime of caring and compassion. Cavell Nurses’ Trust offer anything from a listening ear, to helping maximise nurses’ benefits and around £0.5 million in financial support each year.
Joan is a transformation nurse from Great Yarmouth and the charity is one very close to his heart. He previously ran the Mediaburst Tweetathon and raised an impressive £3,780.37 for the trust. Cavell Trust are continuously seeing an increase in the number of calls they receive year on year, meaning donations are more needed than ever.
